End user licence agreement

This is the licence for the Teleprompter Mirror Pro mobile app specifically. Our general Terms of Service cover the website and the free browser tool as well.

1. Scope of this agreement

This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and the publisher of Teleprompter Mirror Pro (“we”, “us”) covering the mobile application, its updates, and any documentation supplied with it. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service; where the two conflict in relation to the app, this EULA governs. By installing or using the app you accept this EULA.

2. Licence grant

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of the app on each mobile device that you own or control, for your personal or internal business purposes. Where the app is distributed by a store, this licence is also subject to that store’s usage rules, including any family sharing or device-count rules it applies.

The app is licensed to you, not sold. We retain all rights not expressly granted.

3. Restrictions

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:

  • copy the app except as part of normal use or for backup;
  • modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from it;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or attempt to derive its source code, except where applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
  • rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute or sublicense the app;
  • circumvent, disable or interfere with any licensing, security or purchase-verification mechanism;
  • remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notice; or
  • use the app to develop a competing product, or to build a dataset for training a machine learning model.

4. Your content and consent

You own everything you write, record and export with the app, and we claim no rights in it. It is stored on your device and is not transmitted to us.

You are solely responsible for complying with the law where you record, including laws on recording and photographing other people, on privacy, and on the use of copyrighted material in your scripts. Where consent is required to record someone, obtaining it is your responsibility.

5. In-app purchases

The app offers auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock Pro features. These are sold by the app store, charged to your store account, and renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Prices, offers and taxes are set and displayed by the store in your currency before you confirm. See Pricing and the Refund policy for details.

6. Updates and device requirements

We may provide updates, and your store may install them automatically according to your settings. Updates are covered by this EULA. Some features depend on device hardware and operating system capabilities — including on-device AI drafting, the availability and quality of speech recognition for your language, background segmentation performance and maximum recording resolution — and are not guaranteed on every supported device.

7. Data handling

The app is designed to operate without an account and without transmitting your content. Our Privacy policy explains in full what data exists, where it is stored, and the limited circumstances in which any personal data reaches us.

8. Warranty and support

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Any statutory warranty that cannot be excluded remains in force.

We provide support by email at contact@telepromptermirrorpro.com and through the support form. The store from which you downloaded the app has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for it.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, recordings, scripts, profits or goodwill. Our total liability under this EULA is limited to the amount you paid for the app and its subscriptions in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. App Store provisions

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following apply:

  • This EULA is between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Your licence is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules, including family sharing where applicable.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, and consumer protection claims.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.

11. Google Play provisions

If you obtained the app from Google Play, this EULA is between you and us only, not with Google. Google is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and your use is additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

12. Export and government use

You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws, and confirm you will not use the app in violation of them. If the app is acquired by or on behalf of a US Government entity, it is provided as “commercial computer software” with only those rights granted to all other end users under this EULA.

13. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it, and you may terminate it at any time by deleting the app and all copies. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 11 survive termination.
